Many conflicts and misunderstandings are a direct result of being unaware of these differences. This often results in a much less effective ministry because of loss of trust and misunderstanding. It also results in a high attrition rate.

Intercultural orientation is important for all people coming into India, for all who go and work in another country and those moving from one culture to another culture within India.
