About Us

Interserve is an evangelical, cross-cultural, inter-denominational fellowship of Christians committed to each other in partnership and in service to the people.

Formed in 1852, Interserve (formerly known as Zenana mission & BMMF) has pioneered in the fields of education, medical, community and spiritual development in India, being motivated by the love of Christ. Interserve has fostered and nurtured several ministry initiatives that are making great impact in the contemporary Indian Christian scenario; Union Biblical Seminary (UBS), a theological training institution, Union of Evangelical Students of India (UESI), a ministry among college students and Emmanuel Hospital Association (EHA), a medical mission deserves reference here and reflects the varied areas of ministries Interserve had catered to in the past. Today, our involvement has spread among every strata of the society through “Interserve Partners,” who use their professional skills to aid their ministry in transforming the communities through encounter with Jesus Christ.
